Phlebotomy Technicians are responsible for drawing blood samples for laboratory testing, blood donations, and transfusions. Their role is crucial in diagnosing and monitoring patients' health conditions and ensuring the safe handling of blood specimens.

Classes We Offer in the Phlebotomy Program:

• Phlebotomy Fundamentals
  Learn the techniques of venipuncture and capillary puncture, proper blood handling procedures, and essential safety practices in the clinical setting.

• Anatomy & Physiology
  Study the circulatory system to gain a deeper understanding of how blood flow impacts patient health.

• Infection Control & Safety
  Learn how to protect patients and yourself by adhering to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and disposal of medical waste.

• Patient Interaction & Care
  Develop effective communication skills to put patients at ease during procedures and ensure high-quality patient care.

• Medical Terminology & Ethics
  Gain proficiency in the language of healthcare and learn the ethical standards required for handling patient information and medical records.

Program Duration & Schedule

• Duration: The Phlebotomy program can be completed in 4 weeks
• Class Schedules: Classes are held Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM to 3 PM.
